DJANGO UNCHAINED

Leonardo DiCaprio slammed his fist down on a table during the dinner party scene in Django Unchained. His fist landed on  a glass, which cut his hand in multiple places. Instead of halting the production, DiCaprio kept on filming, with the bloody fist kept in the final cut of the film.

Hugh Jackman suffered injuries after filming a fight scene as Wolverine. He sustained fatal scratches after a chain wrapped around his hand, making his Wolverine claws come loose and strike him.

Brandon Lee was shot and killed on the set of The Crow when a 44. Magnum which contained dummy rounds was shot but contained a bullet left behind.

DARK KNIGHT

Cameraman Conway Wickliffe was killed after crashing his pickup truck. He was riding parallel to a stunt car and missed a 90 degree turn, crashing into a tree.

Isla Fisher almost drowned in the water tank escape scene. She couldn't unlock her shackles and as in the water tank for almost 3 minutes.

In August 2016, a construction worker was killed whilst deconstructing one of the sets in Hungary.

Tom Cruise broke his ankle after jumping from one building to another filming an on foot chase scene. He slammed into the side of a building, before climbing back up and continuing to run. The shot was used in the final cut of the film.

PART II

Stuntman Scott Mclean suffered major head injuries whilst filming in Bangkok after he hung his head out of a taxi that failed to dodge an oncoming car, making McLeans head collide with the car. He

had a large gash on his head and flesh was torn from his skull. He was placed in a medically induced coma whilst he was treated.

RETURN OF THE

MUSKETEERS

Roy Kinnear was killed after falling off of a horse. He suffered from a broken pelvis and died of a heart attack the next day.

EXORCIST

Linda Blair suffered a spinal fracture after a mechanical failure when filming a scene where her character levitates and shakes violently. Ellen Burstyn also suffered injuries on the set of The Exorcist. She seriously injured her back shooting a scene where her characters falls over backwards.

APOCALYPSE
NOW

Martin Sheen punched a mirror during the opening scene of Apocalypse Now. He was too drunk to realise that his hand was streaming blood. He suffered a heart attack during filming, returning to the set 6 weeks later.
